Along the southern Mississippi River, an undiscovered superbug makes its way through the food chain as a blue heron snacks on an infected and decaying oyster. Mosquitoes dine on the infected heron, and in less than an hour, the mosquitoes carry an unstoppable coronavirus to a small bayou community.
